The perfect skin! Who hasn’t wondered at least once in their life about how to get it? Our skin is probably the most important part of our face because no matter how much makeup we will put on if our skin is bad it will show, and not to mention the signs that our face skin gives us- there are endless examples for what each breakout on our face means by its placement (but that’s a different topic-if you want me to write about it just let me know). So today I’ve gathered some of my own tips and tricks to get the clear skin that all of us want:).
Water, Water & Water
Drinking enough water during the day is super important for your overall health and also for your skin care.
If your skin won’t get the right amount of water, the lack of hydration will present itself by turning your skin dry, tight and flaky – something that I was suffering for a couple of years until Iv’e started drinking enough water and realized that the problem wasn’t my skin type – it as me not drinking enough water.
After Iv’e started drinking at least 2 liters of water each day, suddenly my skin wasn’t dry anymore and actually it started to clear itself and became more soft and glowy (not the shiny and greasy way).
The Right Food
It’s not a secret that what you eat reflects on your body and on your overall health, but it also effects on the health and look of your skin.
Just drink more water as said before, cut back on sugar, drink less alcohol, eat fewer dairy products as dairy products have a large number of hormones in them and can make your skin breakout, also avoid processed food.
Just take care of your diet and I promise you will see good results.
There are a bunch of ways to do a detox, juice detox, water detox and a lot more.
Detoxing is good because the skin uses the oils you eat in your diet, and a lot of oily foods can make your skin oily and clog your pores.
In order to make your digestive system balanced again once in a while you can do a detox, at first you might see more breakouts as the skin starts to clean itself and get rid of all the toxins, but afterward, it will be clear and soft.
Your skin repairs itself at night, that’s why a good night sleep is great for getting clear skin.
A good night’s sleep can really help your skin by increasing it’s health. When you’re lacking some sleep, your body makes more of the stress hormone cortisol.
A large amount of cortisol can lead to increased stress and inflammation in the body, which can lead to a bunch of skin conditions like psoriasis or acne.
So please don’t forget your precious beauty sleep :).
Don’t Touch Your Face
Touching your face can actually spread dirt, oil, and bacteria, from your hands to your face, which can lead to clogged pores and breakouts.
Try to touch your face only when necessary for example: washing it, putting lotion or makeup on, and of course when your hand clean.
Yep, I know it’s hard, it’s one of my bad habits, but even the kardashians swear by this tip and don’t touch their faces if not necessary.

Use gentle toner to remove any makeup residue that your regular makeup remover didn’t remove and shrink your pores.
I personally recommend alcohol-free toners, as alcohol can dry up your skin and it’s not really what we want to happen.
Clean It Right
Some celebrities swear by the trick of cleaning your face twice, I personally prefer using makeup remover wipes and then to clean my face with this face soup makeup remover, it’s super gentle and does the work.
Store-bought face masks are great, but what can be better than making your own face mask with natural ingredients, without all the artificial stuff all the companies put in?
Just do a spa day at home with yourself or with friends if possible.
