I hope that they’ll help you save some money, or even just to have fun and make some DIY beauty products for yourself 🙂

Get Rid Of Black Heads With Eggs

An easy at-home method for fighting blackheads is using an egg white mask.

Simply apply a layer of egg whites to your face, followed by a layer of tissues. Then, apply one final egg white layer on top. Once everything is dry, you can easily peel the mask away.

According to Everyday Roots, “Egg whites form an easy mask that can be used to temporarily tighten pores, thus reducing chances of future blackheads, and will also remove current blackheads.”

Cinnamon Lip Plumper

Cinnamon is a great lip plumper because, it contains cassia oil, which has many benefits.

It is a calming agent and does not harm your skin when used topically. However, it irritates your mucus membrane when applied to the lips. As a result, the blood circulation to your lips increases, giving you that coveted bee-stung pout.

After applying the cinnamon lip plumper, you will experience mild irritation on your lips, that’s normal. If you don’t feel any irritation at all, then you need to add more cinnamon to the mixture.

If you want a great lip plumper but you don’t want the hassle of making one, check out this option.

Aloe Vera To Prevent Stretch Marks

While little clinical evidence exists for aloe vera as a stretch mark cure, pure aloe vera is both a natural healing agent and a skin softener.

This makes it an ideal home remedy to try for stretch marks.

Apply pure aloe vera from a plant to your stretch marks daily after your shower and I promise that you’ll see results as soon as possible.

If you want to save the time and just purchase already made stretch marks lotion that is made also from aloe vere, check this out.

Translucent Powder

I’ve always struggled to find the perfect translucent powder that can put my concealer at place all day lone, that won’t look cakey or give a flashback when taking pictures.

Then, I found my lifesaver – BABY POWDER!

Yes, you’ve read right! just put your concealer on, and above it put the baby powder with a sponge (enough for it to cover the wanted place and for it to show), then after a couple seconds take the powder off with a dry brush and enjoy :).

Makeup Primer

aloe vera gel, moisturizer, a container to hold it in and something to mix it all together.

If you’ve got acne prone or oily skin, a
drop of witch hazel will also help soothe the redness and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Add a dollop of the aloe vera gel, then add the moisturizer and a drop of witch hazel, then mix it all together.

Voila! you’ve got yourself some primer.

Make sure to let the primer dry on your skin before applying your foundation.

Dry Heels, Begone!

Honey may work as a natural remedy for cracked heels, as it has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties.
Also, it can also moisturize the skin, you can use honey as a foot scrub after a soak, or apply it as a foot mask overnight.

If you don’t like the feeling of honey, try to use coconut oil instead.

Nail Hardener

Organic olive oil
Small heat safe bowl products, that almost all of us have purchased at least Cotton swabs&Water

Organic olive oil
Small heat safe bowl

How To Use:

Heat a small amount of olive oil in a saucepan or microwave until warm.

Pour the warm oil into a small bowl and be sure it is cool enough to apply to the skin. Using a cotton swab, coat the entire nail bed and underside of the nail with the oil and let it soak in for 5 to 10 minutes.

Rinse and dry your nails and leave without polish.

Repeat once a day for two weeks. Note: We suggest applying the solution after you’ve removed your nail polish (with toxin-free remover) to help restore moisture and nutrients.

Cuticle Oil

This recipe fills 2 regular size (0.35 oz) roller bottles.

Ingredients:

3 Tsp olive oil
1/2 Tsp avocado oil
1 Tsp jojoba oil
12 drops lavender essential oil
12 drops rosemary essential oil

Blend ingredients together and pour into containers.

Honestly, it just can’t be easier.

Tea Face Wash

Add 1-2 tablespoons of loose leaf tea into a cup, cover the tea with the water and let it steep for 10 minutes.

Brewing for 10 minutes appears to be a sweet zone for extracting antioxidants.
When the tea cools to a comfortable and safe temperature, you can use it as a simple face wash.

Body Lotion

Make smooth, luxurious lotion at home with almond oil, coconut oil, beeswax, and optional essential oils.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup almond oil (or jojoba oil, or any other liquid oil)
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup beeswax
1 tsp vitamin E oil (optional)
2 TBSP shea butter (or cocoa butter, optional)
essential oils (optional)
vanilla extract (optional)

How To Use:

Combine the almond oil, coconut oil, beeswax, and shea or cocoa butter if using, in a double boiler or a glass bowl on top of a simmering pan of water.
Stir occasionally as the ingredients melt.

When all ingredients are completely melted, add the vitamin E oil if using and any essential oils or scents like vanilla.
Pour into a glass jar or tin for storage.

Note: This will not pump well in a lotion pump!
Use as you would regular lotion. This lotion is ultra-moisturizing and more oily than water-based lotions so you won’t need to use as much. It also has
a longer shelf life than some homemade lotion recipes since all ingredients are already shelf stable and no water is added. Use within 6 months for best moisturizing benefits. 😉
